CUSTOMERS' TESTIMONIALS

Last Majestic Hotel - HOCHIMINH

Sarah, Australia

"Hotel Majestic was fantastic overall. We are an Australian couple in our early 30's and took our 6 month old baby with us. The rooms are enormous and they provided a cost free of charge. The bathroom is very large and marble with great amenities. We used the hotel babysitting service one night, and although the lady didn't speak a word of English, she was great. Our room was on the 1st floor, and down the hall from the pool area which was great. The hotel staff were lovely. Great location too. If we had to make some criticisms it would be that the computers for use in the lobby are charged at $1US/15 mins (rather than free as in other hotels - although we believe they have free wifi if you bring your own laptop) and they initially put us in a room which smelled of cigarette smoke (but they moved us immediately upon our request)."

Asean International Hotel - HANOI
MS. CHRISTENSEN, Lian Sim, Denmark

"The location of the hotel is far from the centre of town, hence it is not very convenient for tourists who have never been to Hanoi to keep taking a taxi to and from town centre. Also makes going out at night difficult for single women. Language is still a problem at the hotel. Not all the staffs speak English or understand English, which causes misunderstandings occasionally. However, staff is very polite and obliging. Breakfast at the hotel is good but the menu for lunch and dinner is far too limited and not very good. The Singapore fried noodles are nothing like the original stuff, neither are the spring rolls. I think the hotel should keep to Vietnamese food as that is what would interest tourists. Sure, you can retain the usual fast food for children and the less adventurous. I did enjoy my stay at the hotel very much but the only reason why I wouldn't stay there again is simply due to the location."

Sofitel Plaza Hotel - HANOI
MR. WILSON, Antony, Australia

"Overall I really enjoyed my stay here, especially the "happy hour" drinks as part of being in a Club Suite! Initially I was disappointed with the length of time it took for us to check in - over an hour. Admittedly it was a group booking, but when you're hot and tired and wanting to just get to your room...only to find that after an hour we'd been given the wrong room number! Took another 30 mins to sort it out. But the rooms are nicely appointed, generous in size and tastefully decorated. I liked the layout, with a hallway so you can't see into the room from the hall. The bathroom was clean, and there was plentiful supply of soaps etc. The breakfast was terrific too! The only other comment is that the location is a bit far from the centre of the shopping district to walk in the heat, we caught cabs - mind you they are cheap and plentiful! Concierge were helpful and obliging."

Gold Sea Hotel - SAPA
MS. SMITH, Renee, Australia

"Wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. Unfortunately our taxi driver couldn't find it (it's on the way to Cat Cat village if you need directions!) Fantastic food at the hotel, soft comfortable beds with electric blankets and warm covers. Hot water was pretty much always available, and the staff were very helpful. There are a lot of stairs, so I don't think this property would be suitable for the elderly or infirm. Definitely stay again."

Beach Resort Hotel – HOI AN
MR. HEMMINGS, Ryan, United Kingdom

"I stayed 10 nights in December 08 which raised a comment upon checking in due to the length of time of my stay, normally its a 3-4 day stop at the most I was told, I could not complain about this hotel if i tried, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was very good, the room clean, wi fi in the room, good little bus service to hoi an town, when i checked out i was presented with 2 gifts, a silk tie and ladies bag, i dont think this is given to everyone. my friend stayed at the very plush swiss bell golden sands 5 mins up the road but did not get free internet as i did in the hoi an beach resort. fully recommended."

Bamboo Green Central Hotel – DA NANG
MRS. MUSAFER, Maltisia, Australia

"My husband and myself stayed at the Bamboo Green Hotel Danang and really enjoyed our stay. The facilities were excellent and the staff very helpful. The room was well presented and clean and bathroom well equipped as in a four star hotel. Would love to stay there again if we plan another trip to Vietnam. "

Pearl Hotel – HA LONG
MRS WHALLEY, KATHY, United Kingdom

"The Halong Pearl has a lovely swimming pool, but you don't get bathrobes and changing rooms are poor. There is no information on restaurants in the room and the hotel restaurant is lacking charm. You are best to walk along the sea front and find some of the lovely restaurants there. The hotel is most comfortable, well located with a fantastic view of Halong bay and staff are most charming and helpful, although the bell boys speak better English than the reception staff. The internet connexion is excellent and the room was extremely comfortable, with delightfully soft sheets."

Ocean Star Resort Hotel – MUI NE, PHANTHIET
MS. LAYMAN, Zulaynah, Singapore

"Not much review on this hotel, but I think its a perfect location, near to tour operators and restaurant. We stay at the lowest category room, and its above our expectation. Although, location where most tourists are, yet, quiet and convenient. There are rooms also facing directly to the sea. Room is spacious and very clean, definitely will recommend to anyone.

Golf 3 Hotel Hotel – Dalat

MR. Peter, Australia

"The room was spacious, the two Queen size beds were appreciated, esp. as we had our 8 year old son, sharing a bed. Buffet breakfast was fair quality. Would have preferred a bath to a shower and one day the housekeeping missed to clean our room and then did not show at the next appointed time. Overall we were satisfied and would return."

Century Riverside Hotel – HUE
MR. BRANN, PJ, Australia

"I had been wanting to stay here for several years and finally got the chance. It was as I expected and I enjoyed my stay. The rooms have been smartened up and were large, comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was very clean but dated however all in good working order. The water pressure in my room on the fourth floor was very weak and showers were very disappointing. Apart from the Lobby the public areas are very tired. I suppose that the floods didn't help but you do fell that certain areas have been neglected. I was looking forward to using the swimming pool which is a good size, deep and very well maintained. However it was very cool and constantly raining during my stay. Location is excellent and in the middle of where you want to be.I loved the view from my balcony over the river and I will stay here again on my next visit."

Cap Saint Jacques Hotel – VUNG TAU
MS. POLLOCK, Elaine, United Kingdom

"This hotel would have been better if more staff had spoke English, if you go there prepare yourself with a phrasebook!!! There was no support from reception staff for booking tours in the hotel; we had to arrange this ourselves. We also found it quite strange at the weekends as there were weddings, this meant the whole hotel was taken over by it and regular guests were not allowed to eat in the restaurant. Other than this the hotel was lovely!"

Sun Spa Resort Hotel – QUANG BINH
Tony Nguyen, Australia

"Sun Spa has beautiful location, attractive landscape. Beautiful rooms and full facilities needed by a five stars hotel. Staff friendly, affordable. I like type of Vietnamese massage. And enjoyed many water sport game. I always remember these day at Sun Spa Resort. "

Galaxy Hotel- HANOI
MS. DOLAN, Pauline, Australia

"I only stayed here 1 night but the experienced of the comfort, facilities was great. The location which was a bit out of the tourist spot, which didn't really stop me, was the only drawback. The restaurant meals were great, large meals, and great service. Waking up and looking out the window over the park was fantastic because of all the local people doing their different types of morning exercise?"

Heritage Hotel – HANOI
MR. HWANG, Thomas, Singapore

"Good value for the money you pay. Suitable for businessmen who need to be in touch -free Wifi connection is available in your room. Convenient location. Fantastic coffee at CD Cafe just a few shops away."

Bong Sen 1 Hotel – HOCHIMINH
MS. CORNELIUS, sandra, Singapore

"The Deluxe triple room was better than I had expected - clean, comfortable and spacious. The only minus to this place was the breakfast - poor selection and not terribly tasty. The coffee house staff was also very grumpy. "

Rex Hotel – HO CHI MINH
MR. HULLOT, Jean-Marie, France

Rex Hotel is great, very well located in the heart of HCMV, it has this slighltly old-fashioned feeling that I really like, it has a great terrace with good restaurant and an open air swimming pool above the terrace which it very pleasant , despite the fact it is quite small. I will certainly return there... when the work on a new buiding in construction right next door will be finished. Starting at 6am there was so much noise in our room that we were not able to sleep at all. It was a morning nightmare and we were not able to get a less noisy room (I suspect most rooms were affected by this incredibly loud noise and vibrations). We were there in April 2007, just wait for at least 6 months before even thinking spending a night there.

Bamboo Sapa Hotel
Janine, ENGLAND

Simply but good hotel. Like so many hotels in Vietnam you get the feeling of 'faded glory' a bit, but everything is very clean though. Because of the central location it is easily reachable; especially the evening meals are nice. Not luxurious, but well looked after.

Huong Giang Hotel – HUE
Schoute

The hotel is excellently located, nice and central and with beautiful view on the perfume river from the balcony (at least if you are on the right side of the hotel sits). The room was a bit poxy, but was clean though and provide with all mod.cons. The service in the hotel is well, but I find the internet usage by Vietnamese standards reasonably expensive (20000 dong for ten minutes) without this having been indicated in advance. The restaurants of the hotel (where you can, against payment, eat Korean food, amongst other things) are not great. You had better pick a restaurant in the surrounding area!

Sunway Hotel Hanoi
A.T. Goeman

Budget hotel which offers very good value for money. However do not expect the same level of quality in Vietnam as in Thailand! Reasonably well located with regard to the old centre and Hoan Kiem lake. The lobby is nice, but with regard to lighting, very cheerless. Breakfast is reasonable and the rooms are clean and the beds sleeps very sound. for families with children rooms there are 'sliding doors' available!

NhaTrang Lodge Hotel

Patrick

Rooms are very good, breakfast buffet excellent, location ideal. The service I found really good, just a phone call and they would immediately be ready. Free Internet use. Reasonably expensive for Vietnamese standards but then you do get something more. Disadvantage is that there are only 2 lifts, but when it was very busy I was allowed to use the personnel's lift.
If I should go to nha trang again then I certainly will go to Lodge hotel.

Golden Sand Resort- HOI AN

M&M van Duren

Tour Colors of Vietnam. Stayed from September 15 and 16 2007. A very good hotel, the rooms are nice and large. Breakfast is elaborate and good. The staff is helpful and pleasant. Located at a beautiful beach. The hotel has a very large pool, approximately 80 meters long and 10 meters wide.

Rex Hotel – HO CHI MINH
MR. ALDAMIZETXEBARRIA, Andoni, Spain

For me the hotel was nice, but a bit expensive. I think that in Vietnam you can find cheaper hotels with similar facilities. The staff was very nice at reception, and the terrace is beautiful, but not the swimming pool. Breakfast was good too, with a big variety. My impression was not bad, but I maybe expected sth more.

Sunrise Beach Resort- NHA TRANG

Doreen albers

We were in this hotel whilst traveling through. The hotel room was wonderful. The bathroom is still more beautiful.

The Japanese restaurant cannot be advised. For a lot of money you are outside again in no time. Cheerless and the meal was not worth the money.

Empress Hotel Dalat

Jessica

Very nice hotel. Not very luxurious but atmosphere is very good. Breakfast: just right. Good service, pleasant, also for children. wonderful terrace, with a beautiful view over the lake.

Sofitel Plaza Hotel
NY Foodie a female from United States

The Sofitel plaza is a luxury hotel, upscale and expensive. My only complaint is that is too far away from everything. A taxi ride is required to go down town.

There's not much in walking distance, except for a nice stroll down the riverside, where, but nothing in the way of shops or restaurants.

Royal View Hotel – Sapa
Mroc2103

We booked this hotel over the internet and were very impressed with it. The room was large and clean, with comfortable beds and a really nice bathroom. The temperature in the rooms was just right. The aircon here seems to be on a master switch rather than controlled in each room, but they seemed to have got it right. Our room opened up onto a large balcony which was shared by five rooms. It was large enough that you could have sat out there quite comfortably without feeling on top of anyone else. The view was just wonderful.

Breakfast was nothing special but better than most of the hotels in Vietnam offer. They had an assortment of cheeses, meats, fruit and bread as well as some Asian choices. The coffee and tea had both been left to sit for too long and were far too strong.

There is a large sitting room where you can wait during the day after you have checked out and they have showers that you can use after check out if you have been hiking and want to be clean to get on the train. The staff were helpful and spoke good English as well as some of the European languages.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Sapa.

Hanoi Backpackers Hostel
Stuartsfraser

This is probably the best place I have stayed in Asia. It has definitely been the most fun. It is owned by a couple of Australians and run by them and a large group of Vietnamese staff. They are a very friendly and helpful bunch and most of them knew my name by the time I left. There is a lot of effort made to ensure that people have an opportunity to meet each other. There is a roof top bar that is open until 10pm every night with a happy hour from 5-6. There are barbecues 3 or 4 times a week and a free keg of lager every Sunday. The early closing helps to ensure that things don't get too rowdy or noisy in the hostel but there isn't a curfew. The rooms have good big solid bunks with huge lockers that could easily swallow my 100 litre rucksack twice over. Each bed has a shelf and a bedside lamp. The rooms are air conditioned from late afternoon to morning. Each room has a bathroom with more showers on the roof. Everything is kept very clean, It's one of the cleanest hostels I have stayed in despite being very busy. I got to know a lot of people while staying here and was sorry to leave.

Hotel Elegance - HANOI

Adam&Laurie

Well, I don't have to tell you about the service and staff, that's mentioned in the main blog here, but I do want to mention that rating this place was a little bit hard. The staff was overwhelmingly nice and attentive, and the A/C, (vs. our problems at Prince II), was outstanding, but ... The a/c actually made it a little cold at night because the bed only has a sheet, no duvet. The bathroom had a little ant problem, not too bad and it didn't spill out into the room, or at least, the bed. We had stayed there a night, then come back from Ha Long Bay for a couple of nights and they put us in a room that was worse that our other room, but tried to charge us the same rate. They switched us after the first night when we complained. The second room, #304, had a bed made out of sheet rock, pillows like bricks, a big hole in the bathroom ceiling, and the window looked out into the stairwell, (and the blinds didn't hide a thing). However, the room we switched to, #401, was much better.

Vinpearl Resort & Spa – Nha Trang

Edward

Everything about the vinpearl was first class the location is first class. The port to and from the vinpearl is magnificent. The people and staff were so friendly. We cant wait to go back this year for the second time. it is such a beautiful country with fantastic people.

Six Senses Hideaway Nha Trang
Harry

We loved our two story, beach bungalow, with outdoor shower, our own soaking pool! It was beautiful! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was great, went water skiing, and we also went kayaking in the South China Sea. We were there February. Can't wait to go back!!

Phuong Dong Orient – DA NANG

Tomncole

This is a very nice and clean hotel if you are looking for somewhere inexpensive to sta in Da Nang. It is located at a major intersection in Da Nang and taxi's are readily available to take you anywhere. The hotel also sells souvenirs and you will be hard pressed to beat the price. The breakfasts are buffet style and are delicious! Best of all, the staff at the hotel are very courteous and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

International Hotel, Can Tho

Jimandrachelle

The International is a good example of basic Vietnamese lodging. No doubt a happening place in the sixties, subsequent remodeling has not kept up with its declaration of being a three star establishment. We happened through there on New Years eve ('06) and it was loud.

Phuong Nam Hotel – HOI AN

Mather Devon, UK

My son and I stayed at the Phuong Nam Hotel (which was booked through Expedia) for three nights and could not have been happier with it.
The hotel is in a quiet location about a two minute drive from town and the hotel provides an excellent and free car service. Our room was spacious, modern and very clean.
The staffs are amazing - very welcoming and were more than happy to help with booking trips and flights. In fact I can't remember ever staying in such a friendly hotel!

Pacific Hotels – HANOI

G.Naik

This is a very good hotel located in center place of Hanoi. Very nice & friendly staff. Price also very competitive. Specially, outside country people can get all types food near by this place. In fact hotel staff will arrange the food on our request. They understand our needs & they take care of us well during our stay at hotel. Really we can enjoy the stay at Pacific.

Vinh Hung Hotel – HOI AN

Perth

We stayed for a week as a family of 2 adults and 3 kids. This meant having two rooms. We choose the deluxe riverside rooms which feature a double/single combination. Rooms were large and comfortable. Bathrooms a little small but fine. Shower fitting over bath not great Hoi An had a major flood in October 2007 (biggest in 50 years) and the Vinh Hung like all other riverside hotels was flooded (about 1-2 metres through the ground floor rooms and gardens) so it’s amazing how good the place looks just a few months later. (You can find photos of Hoi An in flood on the web just look around...it quite startling).
Given the recent flood the gardens and pools were immaculate. We felt like we had the smaller pool to ourselves. Other contributors have noted the mould but I think that inevitable in Hoi An hotels particularly in winter after such a major flood. Our rooms were fine.
Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice of hot and cold food and a good range of fresh fruits Downside? Rooms very noisy you could hear the neighbors too clearly! Also the river can be very noisy with the sound of diesel engines thumping away from dawn to dusk...but then again the riverside room views were spectacular.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is a good distance out of town (a 5 – 10 minute walk through a “real-life” village) where people were very friendly Overall a very pleasant stay

Army Hotel – HANOI
Howald

Quiet hotel with large gardens and pool in process of complete WiFi overhaul (free WiFi, by the way). Next to the Opera and the Champs-Elysees of Hanoi but very good value for money. Reception speaks fluently French and English. Large and well furbished rooms and bath rooms.

It used to be the headquarters of the French Army before 1954. It was then transformed into a Army hotel and officer mess to host high rank military when travelling to Hanoi for reports. Now it still hosts VN public servants on duty travels but also many young NGO staff looking for good value hotel. This mix results in a very interesting atmosphere during breakfast.

Ancient House Hotel- HOI AN
Jantira Seatiew

I stayed at this hotel and they provided good service. The Ancient House Resort has many facilities and the hotel has a restaurant which was clean, delicious and serviced well. The bathrooms are modern and have bathtubs which was a nice addition. The room service was excellent. The Ancient House Resort also has non-smoking rooms available. The Ancient House Resort has a beautiful pool, lovely gardens and a peaceful atmosphere. I d like to stay here again.

Anoasis Beach Resort – VUNG TAU
Mr. Supaporn Pratumma

The Anoasis Beach Resort Vietnam has a great location close to the beach. We stayed at the Ocean View Villa that was an ideal family style accommodation and had beautiful views of the sea. There was a spacious lounge, a living area and a private Jacuzzi. I would love to stay here again.

Grand Halong Hotel Ha Long
Miss Jones Moreno

The Grand Halong boasts very reasonable rates for its 4 star hotel. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. There are caring and friendly service makes us stay such an enjoyable experience.

We travel to the Bai chay Beach, the Caves and Grottos. It was attractively and so beautiful flowers on stone. We were enjoyed with our activity there, swimming, fishing, sunbathing and take photos with the mountains in the islands. We have a several times there.

The Princess D'Annam Resort & Spa, Phan Thiet
wang J. United States
Family with young children

Even though the staff members were friendly, the English level need to improve a bit more. I know there are challenges with finding good trained English speaking staff, the level at the front line employees need to be more English speaking staff. There is another issue with variety of food selection during the day, since the resort is out of the way, there are really no way to get to outside restaurants. In this case, there should be a better way to find local restaurants. Maybe running a shuttle to near by restaurants or attraction.

Bon Bien Resort Hotel Phan Thiet

Ms. Theresa Stanton

The Bon Bien Resort is located in the luxury resort section of Mui Ne Beach and I spent a couple of days there. It was a comfortable stay there I enjoyed the beautiful view of the beach and from the balcony of my room I saw the ocean and gardens . The pool was big and clean and the food was delicious . I will be going soon to stay there again.

Rising Dragon Hotel
Hanoi
Jmadl A. of Adelaide, Australia

We stayed at Rising Dragon in July 2007, and despite not enjoying it that time, we knew it was clean and not badly located, so on a whim booked again hours before arriving in Hanoi.

It has improved significantly; double glazing means a sound sleep can be achieved on mattresses not too hard (by Viet standards.) A/C worked fine, and there was cable TV.

We were only in the hotel for a few hours as we'd arranged for Rising Dragon to book soft-sleeper tickets on the LC1 to Lao Cai at 6.10am. Bit of a quibble there as a staff member accompanied us to the station, and took us to our carriage which was a hard seat, no AC. A bribe later and we were sorted (hard sleeper, but AC), but we'd like to know up front from the hotel what tickets we'd received.

We stayed elsewhere on our return trip, and compared to that this hotel is pretty good. Just a reminder when looking at the reviews, it's not bad value, but a $30 room resembles a $30 room. Some of the reviews on this hotel make it sound like the Sofitel Metropole.

Orchid Hotel – HUE
Thomas & Gail from Australia, Australia

My wife and I found this hotel to be well located, modern, clean, neat and tidy. The staff were very polite and helpful. Our hotel driver drove us to Hoi an in a safe and professional manner. We would stay at this hotel should we return.

Renaissance River Side Hotel Ho Chi Minh
Mr. Harald Baumann

Great Hotel and to say it right away: I loved to stay at this place. The location was excellent with many shops, boutiques and nice restaurants around us.
The facilities inside the hotel were as impressive with a 24 hour open gym that was equipped with the newest fitness training machines.
Prices are very reasonable as Vietnam is still a low cost country. Eating at the restaurants in the hotel will hardly make you leave more than 15 dollars altogether for a top notch meal and drinks.
The breakfast buffet was another pleasant surprise with a very good selection.
Highly recommended!

Metropole Hotel
Lynnie, Australia

The Metropole Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam My husband and I stayed at the Metropole hotel for three nights, and we had a great time, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and clean. We had everything that we needed at the hotel including entertainment. Which was great after traveling around all day to come back to our hotel and have a relax around the pool, and then to be able to have a drink and entertainment without having to leave the hotel again. The only problem was that it was too far to walk into the main part of the City, but taxis were easily called.

Ocean Star Resort Phan Thiet

Gill Payne England, United Kingdom

We stayed at the Blue Ocean resort Christmas 2008, fantastic location, rooms done up lovely, staff very friendly, Tom's birthday they made a cake for him, nothing too much trouble. Great location, cheap for specialties.

Grand Mercure La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc Island

Marcel M. Netherlands Couple

Style of the hotel and garden Clean room Good restaurant Friendly staff

Price of breakfast too high ($15)

La Veranda is a nice colonial stylish hotel with a beautiful garden and not too many rooms. The reception at the airport was good with in the bus already a cold towel. Rooms are nice and clean and have all the comfort you need. The staff gives it a personal touch by having a small talk to guests everyday. The Peppertree restaurant is very good. Also a nice garden restaurant for more snack kind of meals. The price for breakfast is too high though.

Hoi An Hotel

Backstrand, Sweden

Good location, very nice beautiful poolarea with a nice pool and Jacuzzi. Good breakfastbuffe. We were very satisfied with this hotel. Room was a bit small but we were not there much. I can strongly recommend this hotel if you go to Hoi An.

Metropole Hotel – HO CHI MINH
Leandro S from Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil

Metropole was an excellent hotel to stay at. We stayed there from Jan 9-14th 2009 for our trip to Saigon. We decided to book it again from Jan 20-23 because we were very please. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and nice. The condition of the hotel was very clean. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but was fine with us. You can also exchange money at the reception desk. The only thing is the Metropole is a bit far from most attractions, but the cab fares are very cheap and you can get pretty much anywhere for $1-5 USD.

Hello Vietnam Hotel - Hanoi -
Smitsandra991

Certainly the Hello Vietnam Hotel Hanoi was the best hotel of all we've been to in Vietnam for our 2 week trip in Vietnam. If you look for a hotel with party and no rulles, you better go somewhere else - you can't even smoke in an external part of this hostel. But on the otherside, that's the most friendly and clean place that makes you feel you're at home. A bed was havenly soft, bathrooms were always clean and staff was great in caring the guests...

Church Hotel – HANOI
Margaret Moon

A friend visiting from NYC and I went to Hanoi for a quick vacation from the Philippines. We booked with the Church hotel, and even though we arrived very late at night to a sleeping front desk receptionist, we were welcomed in and given our rooms without any problem. We also left for a night to visit Ha Long Bay on a cruise, and had no problem checking back in. All of this was arranged online via email before we arrived. We found the whole experience just fine - the rooms were definitely a bit worn and old - but the location and price were great. I have had friends stay at The Zephyr Hotel nearby, and it does seem a step up, if you are willing to pay the extra amount.

Oasis Hotel, Hanoi
shimshon Z.

The hotel was OK; many shops and restaurant nearby the hotel; by taxi you can anywhere with a short distance way ; more than this you can have a walking around and decide the direction you wish; The staff was welcoming although and speaking well English and the room was very convenient with internet access. Lobby staff was OK the room was clean always with ability to open window and get a fresh air.

Novotel Dalat Hotel, Dalat
Simon T.
United Kingdom
Couple

great hotel with good location on top of the hill in dalat close to all things you may need , short trip into town centre by cheap cab or nice stroll, the bar and facilities of the neighbouring hotel sofitel back up this hotel so that you have everything you need here, the cafe de la poste next door has great food all day long and a fantastic sunday brunch all you can eat that has to be seen to be believed. highly recommended. also the staff arrange any trips airport transfers for you, and everyone in town knows where this hotel is, also cheaper golf rates if you stay here or sofitel.

Travel tip : the official easy rider bike tour guys in town ( the ones in the blue and black jackets)are fantastic. you have to do a day trip, they know all the sights very cheap about 20 us or bit more, pick up and drop you at your hotel, english speaking and friendly, no dropping at any shops and trinket stalls, very genuine, ask for 'Tueh' pronounced Tway! he is awesome, very nice fellow, very genuine, tell him you want to try the snake wine.
